Recently I saw new service being started with interesting name of Chi.mp. It offered you free domain names with site constructor. I was interested and signed up for beta version.
Sooner the email with validation code was received and I visited that site again. It appeared to be the free service of vcards with top level domain name. You can register there only for invites and now I don’t see any way that I can earn mine ones (or you can request your one here).
That service is really very useful if you want to get yourself a good vcard. It supports integrated RSS feeds to read your news instantly, integrated gmail, hotmail, flickr, twitter and other good stuff to get all of your informational streams in one place.
But if you want to get a free .mp domain and point it somewhere… then I must disappoint you. You’ll have no control with your domain name and you can use it only for your personal vcard placed on chi.mp services.

Firstly I want to apologize about staying a long time without any update - I was busy, because my school year had started and I needed to get in the flux.
So, todays post will be about the service called smartdots.com. It offers good free redirect from your long address like http://blablablahosting.com/sites/users/mypage to http://mypage.something.tc . There is a good choice of domains instead of something (like at.tc, ru.tc, net.tc, com.tc, org.tc etc.). URL cloaking and Path forwarding are optional. Also you can check out free access statistics and free search submission to nearly 250 search engines (google, altavista, yahoo and others).
But there is one ‘but’ - the small banner will pop on your site with every visitor (it can be closed with X button on it).
